The situation
As a new company, Get Indiana needed more than just a website. They needed a strong, recognizable brand that resonated with their audience and a platform that could showcase their content while fostering deeper connections beyond social media.
What we built
A custom Next.js site, brand identity rooted in Indiana colors and Hoosier photography, and a CMS-driven publishing flow that puts stories, podcasts, and events front and center. On the back end: a newsletter pipeline replacing beehiiv, blog automation tied to a research-and-review system, social listening across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Reddit, and HTML email templates for Partnership, Writer Application, and Small Town Breakdown form submissions wired through Make.com.
Stack
How it runs
The blog system pulls research, drafts in brand voice, and runs through a multi-dimension review before anything publishes. Form submissions hit Make.com webhooks and trigger templated, branded emails within seconds. Reporting scenarios surface weekly traffic and search performance without a manual lift.
Outcomes
Grew from 1,000 to 20,000 monthly visitors. Get Indiana is now a go-to hub for Hoosiers seeking hyper-local content. Their audience can effortlessly engage with fresh stories, podcasts, and events, all in one place. More than just a media company, Get Indiana has become a community.
