The situation

ISFE is a Butler-Tarkington institution with nearly 50 years of history and a loyal customer base. When Matthew Williford acquired the business in August 2025, the digital side needed to catch up to the legacy. A real site, a way to publish, and content systems that could keep press coverage, daily specials, and online ordering all in one place.

What we built

The Illinois Street Food Emporium website is the center of the restaurant's publishing. The CMS feeds the blog, their Instagram feeds the site, and visitors get direct links to their Google Business Profile, Instagram and Facebook.

What runs on it

  • Blog on their domain
  • Instagram feed
  • Google Business Profile post on every publish

How it runs

Every newsletter and blog post the restaurant publishes has also posted to their Google Business Profile since June 22, 2026. One publish gives them a page on their own domain and a fresh update on the profile, with no extra work from the team.

Outcomes

A nearly 50-year-old neighborhood institution now has the digital infrastructure to support its next chapter. Ordering, catering, press, and social all in one place, with publishing and reporting that don't require a developer.
